Are you interested in Minecraft, block and Python programming, 3D development or video games? This fun online workshop helps to develop skills in coding, problem solving, graphic design and teamwork.

  • Build 3D worlds in a community server.
  • Learn the basics of coding logic.
  • Use block coding and Python to program in Microsoft MakeCode.
  • Code the Minecraft Agent to build, dance, and more.

Instruction includes a combination of live online interactions with NIU faculty and staff, along with recorded videos and downloadable step-by-step instruction. We’ll use Minecraft Education Edition, which is available on Windows, MAC, iPad and Chromebook.
